Where is "Takeover Arbitrage"? I have been following CAR for about year---read something somewhere about a possible takeover. I posted to the CAR Chart a question about opinions on possible merger but have gotten no responses.

So, first thanks for inititiative on this thread.

If Marvin Davis has been rebuffed twice, then who or what company would want to buy CAR if Davis does not offer a third time? Or will Davis raise his offer to the approximate 30 you mention?
