[Company Websites] I should ammend the "no company websites" rule to say that a link to a tutorial or general technology overview within a company website is O.K. Just no product or service-specific hype. Cisco, Ascend, 3COM, Analog Devices, Motorola, Philips, and on and on, all have portions of their websites with a wealth of broad information, but you always have to be on the lookout for overemphasizing the importance of one information source. Be careful not to upgrade the quality or reliability of an information source by treating an interpretation as fact. Always be skeptical of single-source information, ESPECIALLY after you have invested your hard earned money in a company. Be especially skeptical of company press releases and of unqualified journalists posing as technology experts. dh
