Again with permission, another E-mail question reproduced here:

"1 why would anyone get excited about 1 meter widths.
2 what is an active horizon
3 falconbridge must know more than they are telling nar to expand
the programe like that.
4 is 7 to 10 % copper signficant? tks stemmer.

Dear stemmer:

1. Even 1m widths, if they carry Cu-Zn, are significant because they don't happen often: when I worked in the Noranda Camp, we deemed it VERY significant to find a 1m horizon that carried base metals ....rule-of-thumb says ore is close

2. Active horizon I guess is a term (South African?) they use over there for a layer of rock that has been altered and mineralized: usually submarine volcanic rock (lavas) and sediments. This formation would host the eventual ore deposit. Finding this formation is a big step forward, as it narrows-down the search considerably.

3. Their current program of 22 holes along 4500 metres averages to one hole per 200m, not accounting for multiple holes per section. To add 75 holes to the program in an area now doubled in length, sounds like they are adding holes on section in the original area of 4500m (likely going deeper) and drilling every 100m-200m to the east. This is close-spaced drilling on something significant!

4. Good grief! Falconbridge's world class Kidd Creek massive sulfide deposit (139 million tonnes production-to-date plus reserves)in Timmins, Ontario, is only producing at 2.3 % Copper and 6.6 % Zinc (see my FAQ's page at <http://www.nar-resources.com> for geological background of volcanic-associated massive sulfide deposits).

Sorry to go on like this.....but geologists like me get excited when all the elements are in place for a major discovery. Is this why Noranda picked-up another 2% of Falconbridge last week?
