Shawnee Mission, Kansas, April 28, 1998 -- AmeriResource
Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB "ARET") announced today that Tomahawk
Construction Co has signed a contract to provide design and
project management services for the initial phase of 500 low-
income homes in the Linares, Nuevo Leon, Mexico area. An
independent trust fund, set up on behalf of Fomerrey (the state)
and FOVI (the federal) low-income housing agencies, will provide
financing for this initial project. The first contract is a fixed
fee plus incentives, initially valued at US$5 million; the final
contract dollar amount will be determined after the design phase
is completed. Design work has started and Tomahawk will finish
its mobilization to the Monterrey, Mexico area within the next 30
days. The first 500 homes are scheduled to be completed within 6
months, after ground breaking.
