Can you use infrared recognition with gloves on? Yes. Kind of. It really depends on how secure you want your access to be. If you only require recognition on certain perimeter or structural aspects of a persons hand there should be no problem. If you want vein comparison, gloves are a problem.
We envision an infrared recognition system for interior doors in a commercial building or a hotel, for example. Most often, users would not be using gloves or at least it would be warm enough to take them off.
