If you click on my name you'll see in
my personal profile I'm 32...a nice
young age to try a different career.
Although, I will say that it is mainly
employers which I'm looking to switch,
I would love to stay in meteorology if
there is a way to do it and leave the
goverment.

I guess I have always had a sense of the
importance of competition, and sometimes
I feel that characteristic lacks with a
federal job, as with any branch of government
I suppose. Perhaps out there in the "real
world" my juices will get flowing. I've
plenty of ideas, but something about the
characteristics of my workplace now seem
to squelch the ambition in me.
