Manufactures, markets, and distributes truck and trailer mount aerial work platforms. Operates a manufacturing facility in Calgary. To some this may seem lacklustre. 13.8 million shares o/s.

I do not have latest financial statements nor have contacted the firm for an explanation why the stock volume has picked up after a year of inactivity.

The reason I went after this stock is because it was a dormant stock in 1998, but still investors were reaching for the 10ct level, which was well defined for a long time. The breakout beyond the 10ct resistence level on strong volume attracted my attention, even though the reason is unclear.

In Edward/Magee technical analysis book, a chapter on reversal patterns exists. In this chapter a few pages are devoted to "dormant pattern" discussion. If my interpretation of these pages are correct, then MBO fits the description.

As I have not contacted the firm yet, reliance solely on technical analysis should be approached with caution. The stock is thinly traded.

stockhouse.com "C.MBO" only has corporate bulletins from last year, in which expanded coverage to the U.S. was to be the main focus. Maybe some sales orders are now forthcoming.
