Welcome to the thread, Herc -- I haven't had any problems with freezes specific to IQ Charts. I do have freezes sometimes when I have many applications open at the same time. I think it's more a resource (RAM/cache) issue than an application-specific issue. So this update probably uses more resources than the predecessor (makes sense with the new features added). I plan on getting a new PC soon with oodles of RAM so I don't run into this issue. How much RAM do you have? Was the upgrade easy? I just did File, Upgrade and immediately got a message saying, "The present version is the newest version." Wow, that's easy to check... I like the "market" tracker, too, although I just discovered it this weekend and haven't used it yet. I think the Most Percentage Gain tracker can be used to find good momentum plays early in the day. Unfortunately, being in Hawaii, I'm usually asleep early in the market day. How do you do a "related" scan? What do you mean the "scan for technical tipoffs"? Mahalo, Mr. Aloha
