it all depends on pending litigation with affx. i for one think their sequencing technlogy is potentially powerful, but they may not be able to use it much longer if they lose in court. affx was given a patent on some software that is used to analyze raw data generated by the "sequencing by hybridization" technology that hysq seems to think it owns. affx filed suit against hysq after its software patent award, claiming prior art. my advice on hyseq is to wait for the litigation to end...by that time, ironically, the technology might be obsolete.
