Omni Energy Services Raises 2007 Revenue Guidance, Expects to Beat 2006 by Up to 87 Percent
CARENCRO, La. (AP) -- Omni Energy Services Corp., which provides seismic data to the petroleum industry, on Thursday raised its already-bullish 2007 outlook, saying it could topple 2006 revenue as much as 87 percent.
Excluding weather and permit delays, Omni now expects net income between $17 and $19 million, or 65 cents to 73 cents per share. In March, it projected 2007 earnings of more than $17 million, excluding some tax benefits.
The company also said it now expects revenue to range between $180 and $185 million. In March, the company projected 2007 revenue of more than $175 million.
In 2006, Omni reported adjusted income of $9.2 million, or 38 cents per share, on revenue of $99 million. Net income was $20.9 million, or 89 cents per share, including $12.6 million of income tax benefits. |
