Regarding today's (Monday 5-13) quiet trading session, we came in short JNPR, GMST, and HOTT (all as overnight/swing trades from Friday) which were all closed profitably early in the session. Intraday we scalped XLNX and BEAS short for small profits, and we took a 0.2 pt loss on a CIEN short.

The big thing today was to stay out of the way of a choppy, sloppy (lowest volume of the year) market in front of Tuesday's Fed meeting/annoucement. We have been warning our clients about trading smaller, lighter, and more carefully in this the difficult trading environment. The intent being to assist them in avoiding both frustration and damage to their trading capital. Our trading for the past week in the room has been very nimble, characterized by taking profits quickly and calling our shots carefully/selectively on the occasional overnight positions.

We will be doing fuller reports daily as the other two moderators get onto this thread and we get into the groove.

-Steve
