Oct-22-01 PA Security Officials Assisted Ze’evi Assassin in Escaping Prime Minister Ariel Sharon on Monday announced that a branch of the PA security services actively assisted one of the assassins of Minster Rechavam Ze’evi to flee Israeli authorities and make his way to an area under PA control. Sharon added that Israel is not under pressure regarding ongoing activities in PA areas, adding not everyone is ecstatic over the actions but nevertheless aware of the realization that Arafat and the PA are responsible for the ongoing terror.
