I can't really answer your question as accurately as you would like. I started this thread as my stock club recently purchased ADP and I was surprised to find no ADP thread on SI. I am no expert on ADP. As I recall from reading ValueLine, approximately 20-25% of their revenue is derived from, and someone please correct me on this to get it accurate, preparing/processing stock trades. ADP provides some processing services whose revenue is dependent on the number of trades which occur. My guess is investors are anticipating lower revenues in this sector of their business due to lower trading volumes going forward.
