OWNERSHIP OF TUBERCIN CONFIRMED BY COURT RULING

Sacramento , California. July 11, 2005. Dr. Ronald Shinn, President and CEO of Artec, Inc. (ATKJ.PK) announced a Federal Court ruling declaring Shinn Capital, Inc's ownership of rights to Tubercin. Artec holds a sub-license agreement for the development and marketing of Tubercin from Shinn Capital. A copy of the complete opinion can be found on the website of Hard to Treat Diseases, Inc. ( www.htdsotc.com ), under Corporate, Legal, Memorandum; shareholders and other interested persons are encouraged to read the ruling in its entirety. “We are grateful for the time and attention that the Court gave to this matter, and obviously are pleased that the Court confirmed the ownership of Tubercin”. Artec will be updating its Disclosure Statement and financial information on www.pinksheets.com this week, and plans an announcement with respect to Artec's development and marketing plans for Tubercin later this month.
