Interesting and fun topic, Carolyn. The first scene that pops into my mind - probably because I just watched Sound of Music yesterday - is the scene between Captain Von Trapp and the Baroness when he tells her their engagement is off. The actress captured the shock, pain and cover up of her devastation perfectly. Much as I loved "Maria" and was thrilled with the way the movie ended, I always had a soft spot of understanding for the Baroness. I often joke about watching it over and over again because I want to see the Baroness get the Captain. :)
