Lord, I lift Paul and Lisa to you in prayer. If it be your will,
bless them with the gift of birth. If it be not, then please bless
them with children in some other way and help them to love those
children as if they were their own, as I love Mary and Dianne.
Lord, please keep your shield of protection around Grant. I recall
how tough things were for the Christians kids at Cornell. It's not
easy when not only are your peers partying till they puke, but every
day your faith is undermined by the professors as well. Lord, let it
make his faith stronger and more resilient.
Finally Lord, thank you for bringing my wife and youngest daughter
back from their three-week trip overseas. Thank you for allowing me
to spend that time with my stepdaughters and helping us enjoy our time
together. Thank you for putting Christine back on my lap, this very
moment, with that beautiful 4-year-old hand moving the mouse for me.
