Dundee Precious Metals Fund.DPM.A formerly BGR Precious metals, traded down to $8.00 today representing a discount in excess of 40% of NAV.
Volume was abnormally high for this thinly traded closed end fund.
Not a gold bug but I could not resist grabbing some at $8.10 due to fact fund does have a share buyback and the huge discount quite attractive.
Noticed that all closed end funds that I follow are trading at historic large discount to Net asset values.
Appears to be no merit in following value plays. All the money is chasing stocks with huge earnings multiples.
This will not continue.Reason will return to market sooner than later.
