morry and Robin,

My broker just phoned me to say Ascend is at an all time high of 62 and is trying to break out (maybe).

Robin, you asked me what calls I had. I have Asnd May 60s. I bought those before I had a lot of experience. I also have Aplx May 40 calls. I may not break even on APLX.

I own others, but I don't want to make recommendations because by the time you read this, I might have sold them. Or something might have gone wrong with the stock.

I talk to my broker two or three times, at the minimum, every trading day. It takes a lot of my time. Buying and selling options is more time consuming than dealing with stocks.

Over the past two weeks, I have sold options on Stratcom (twice), Newbridge Networks, Oracle, and Aplix(on another occasion).
There may be others but they don't come to mind.

Actually, my broker said what morry told you in the message above that options are not for everyone. I have been extremely lucky and so far, I have done very well, I think my options broker is exceptional though.

I asked him why people lose money on options. He couldn't pinpoint the reason. He said most of them are just gamblers. I asked them if they knew anything about the stocks that they purchased options on. He said he didn't know.

Let's cheer for ASCEND to move higher!
