(Amex:TKO - News), the leader in providing in-building broadband access over existing electrical wiring, today announced a strategic alliance with ViaSat, a high-technology company that provides innovative satellite communications services. Through this alliance, Telkonet will offer ViaSat's wide array of satellite services along with Telkonet's proven high-speed Internet access system to deliver a complete broadband solution for the enterprise marketplace.

By bundling Telkonet's high-speed Internet access system with ViaSat's satellite broadband services, customers enjoy a total solution from a single vendor, saving time and money. The system is simple, reliable and secure, and can be deployed within days.

In July 2004, Telkonet hired Blair Gilbert as vice president of the satellite networks group to expedite the launch of Telkonet's satellite networking initiatives and integrate Telkonet's product offerings.
