The last time I checked, democrats were favored to win the white house at roughly 65/35.

Please note that I have been referring to the betting on the contest to become the Democratic Nominee.

I'm not sure why you believe Obama can't beat McCain. The poll you cited hardly constitutes sufficient evidence of that

One makes the Big Money by being right when the crowd is wrong. I look for cases where the crowd is wrong. Right now, the crowd isn't sufficiently wrong about McCain to interest me. (He's trading near 40.) But the crowd is quite wrong about Hillary's chances of becoming the Dem nominee -- and will only get more wrong in the coming days. I'll buy when I think the crowd is as wrong as it can be.
