Well yes, I have a short term loss on REGN of $5000. But a long term gain in the same of $40 or 50 thousand.

But I'm not a stock picker. If a stock fails I'm gone. If not, I'm setting mental sell stops. I'm sure SM does not have this problem, cuz he watches/knows the stocks. I just have the machine alert me when the stock violates a sell stop. Then I decide.

For example. I own MMM on a breakout from 68 . My sell is 81.75....APM is at 37.25, my sell is 29....RMR from 20, trading at 27.5, sell at 27...CDO @ 31.75 own from 1/132. No stop (why bother? First stock I ever bought, 1978)

Where have I gotten slammed? Hyped penny stocks. IDID...SEXI...SCPAE

This year, next year, in the year 2010, there will be a GE, there will be a XON...bet accordingly.
