The reason I keep mentioning IFMX is not because I own this stock, but because IFMX and AAPL have almost the same amount of outstanding stock (124 millions). IFMX was depressed by ORCL, while AAPL was depressed by WinTel.
IFMX has warned investors about its coming quarter's revenue/earning about one month ago, while AAPL has also warned investors its revenues will be around 1.6-1.7 billions for the previous quarter (2nd Q). Each one has about 30% shortage regarding their revenues. One difference is AAPL has done its layoffs, while IFMX has not.
If you look carefully in AAPL's recent trade in the recent couple months, you will see the volumes are extremely light compared to any specific two months in two years. And, AAPL tested 16 at least 20-30 times recently and mysteriously, AAPL didn't break through that boundary. While, for IFMX, as soon as the shortage of revenues broke out yesterday, the stock was immediately hit and lost its value by one third.
Based on the fundamental data, AAPL is a lot superior to IFMX. AAPL has about 7-9 billions of yearly revenues, while IFMX has about one tenth of AAPL's. AAPL's book value is about 15.5-16, while IFMX has <2. AAPL's new products have been hitting the market and being evaluated as excellent products, IFMX has very attrative products too.
All in all, somebody as investors are currently accumulating AAPL stock for any reasons beyond my understanding. Probably, after AAPL's cleanhouse, its stock looks extremely attrative, and the accurate future direction has been clearly defined, which might also a factor to trigger the event that expresses in the stock's trend. |
