gz, where did you hear that it was FX processors only...I thought the Idea for AM2 was interchangeability? I have not heard the presentation, but I have seen slides that put it on top of the performance, even above where today's Athlon is. It would also be consistent with the pattern of AMD coming with some nice technological innovation, dropping the ball on it, only to "rediscover" the dropped ball just after Intel caught up. Joe
