I didn't hear this though during yesterdays meeting. Did anyone else hear this? Isn's this out of line with AMD's roadmap?

I think there are just some leaps of logic in that article. I believe all of the features of what they call Bulldozer are just standard features of K8L. AMD may have highlighted some power saving features in laptop version (that is not as important in desktop), but I think it is basically one chip, K8L.
