I don't know if Pembina lacks the experience because they're Canadian or they're just too small to have much experience.

Pembina picking a fight with FERC shows a total lack of sense. FERC is the industry's friend and working as the lead agency.

It's far much more sensible to route a 36 inch gas pipeline through farms rather than forests.

The farmers charge more up front, but in return you get a partner who knows why they're "in business with you" through the construction and all the subsequent ups and downs.

Pembina is trying to "save money" by routing the pipeline through national parks. Good luck with that.
