STEC...PHILADELPHIA, Feb 10 (Reuters) - SimpleTech Inc., which makes memory-storage products used in digital cameras and other electronics, on Tuesday posted a fourth-quarter profit and said it expects full-year 2004 revenues to jump as much as 35 percent.
Net income totaled $600,000, or 1 cent per share, compared with $153,000, or nil per share a year ago. Revenues rose to $68.7 million from $45.8 million a year ago, driven, in part, by strong growth in sales of stacking memory products.
It said it expects its full-year 2004 revenues to increase by 25 percent to 35 percent from the full-year 2003 revenues of $221.8 million, with gross margins expanding by 2 percent to 4 percent. Based on current market conditions and seasonality, it expects revenues for the first quarter of 2004 to range from $59 million to $61 million. |
