Me, neither. I imagine that there's a lot of variation among individuals and people need to figure it out for themselves. My own sense is that the value of sex is in further facilitating intimacy and that most people have to learn how to have a mature relationship just as they have to learn to be mature as individuals. I suppose there are some who can get it right the first time., but I wouldn't encourage anyone to plan on it.

I can't imagine what it is about sport sex that is so appealing to people. Yet, I wouldn't call what they do indecent as long as the partners are consenting adults. I also realize that there are people who think that the whole point of sex is making babies.

Wherever adults end up, I think it's a shame if they start too early and rush into meaningless sex because it would tend to dull one's senses for other ways to experience sexuality. One would think. Maybe not. I didn't do it that way so I don't know. I think it's best for kids to wait until they can better deal with such things. Keeping one's options open. And keeping safe and healthy.
