Oops, I forget these guys...they should all be so honest. :) -->

Macromedia (MACR) 26.57 +2.87: -- Update -- On conference call, mgmt adamant on call not to provide guidance. Mgmt keeps
getting pressed during Q&A, but mgmt will not provide any guidance -- not a number and will not even characterize higher or lower
etc...stock trading at 21.

Macromedia (MACR) 26.57 +2.87: -- Update -- On conference call, company explained reduction in gross margin to 89% from 91%
in DecQ. Due to slightly lower sales mix and a bit with Allaire acqusition...Yet another comment on 20% operating margin guidance:
"We're not really providing guidance here." Bottom line, no guidance whatsoever...stock trading at 21.

Macromedia (MACR) 26.57 +2.87: -- Update -- On conference call, mgmt sees long term growth objective of 35%, but this year will
be difficult...operating margin guidance in the past had been around 25%, so guidance mentioned in earlier comment is a reduction. "Don't
think we will get to 20% operating margin this year." was an answer during Q&A session which conflicts with comment during the call.
20% is more of a longer term goal....stock trading at 21.10.

Macromedia (MACR) 26.57 +2.87: -- Update -- On conference call, only guidance given: "over 20% operating income"; declined to be
more specific....stock selling off to $21.
