I see LB has now changed his mind about the worth of invading Iraq:

Think of all the men and money we wasted on this country. To make a new ally for Iran.

That was one of the themes of the criticism of many people that he and others continually disparaged during the Bush first term. It was so obvious that this was the most likely outcome, given the demography and geography of Iraq.

But of course LB and his merry band are still completely certain of their current views, just as they were completely certain 10 years ago that it was worthwhile to wage Bush's war.

I do at least give him some credit for being able to change his mind.
