I have frequently thought that the MM were given a bad name here on SI for no apparent reason other than it seems a logical place to lay blame when a position moves against someone. In the last few weeks I have spoken to a MM on several occassions and have come to realize that this person is just a person trying to make a dollar like everyone else and that this individual is not miles ahead of everyone else in terms of the stock, its price and its action. To say the MM made the stock go up, come down, is purposely moving the bid to get "my stock" I think is absurd. I look forward to future dialogue on these issues as a way to clear up all the misinformation that we receive here on SI. I would imagine there is some manipulation, but to place every negative stock move on the MM is in a word, absurd.

This following paragraph is not directed towards you Christopher, but it is something I have wanted to state and am doing so in this reply as it has some connection with what I have been stating herein.

I have followed Steve on this thread and the other threads where he posts and have been in phone contact with him. I find him to be an honest caring individual who has our interests at heart and is not trying to gain any benefit out of this thread other than a personal feeling that he is helping spread the knowledge in a field that he loves. Anyone who states otherwise, is simply short of facts.

I look forward to following your posts as well. Nice to know there are some of the evil bad MM <<gg>> out there who are willing to step into this forum and address questions and issues and hopefully provide some honest facts that are needed. Thank you.
