He analyzed where he stood on the issues, and realized that his stances on most issues placed him in a certain spot politically, and his stances didn't jibe much with those of the current administration and did so much more closely with those of a particular party.
Yet, you seem unable to articulate the stances of either candidate beyond the outline headings of "Environment" and "Church and State", etc.
You have chosen liberalism. Yet you seemingly do not comprehend that liberalism has brought us Social Security, a giant ponzi scheme that will rob YOU of your future, not ME of mine. It is bizarre, but you have concluded that conservatives are trying to protect you from a terrorist threat which doesn't exist (even though we watched 9/11 unfold before our eyes). Rather than a true fight against terrorism, you want to use the John Edwards approach of "let's make friends with Iran -- that's the way to eliminate their support for terrorism".
All that is strange. But the most bizarre attitude is that you want to have the government confiscate more of your (and my) money. What for? Who knows.
I believe I can spend my hard-earned money more wisely than government can. I say to liberals, if you want the government to have YOUR money, write the check -- they'll take it. But leave ME out of it.
You tolerate the massive hypocrisy of the Left. Massive wealth (Streisand, Kerry, Spielburg, Soros) -- all of whom fly around in private jets while telling us the cars we drive are too big. All of whom tell us to give our money to the government, but none of whom GIVE THEIR MONEY TO THE GOVERNMENT.
The only positive thing I can say about it is I was once just like you, and I came around; I'm sure you will, too. I think you're too bright not to. |
