IBM announces new addition to its WebSphere solution group: WebSphere Anywhere.

Interface's Document Server is designed into IBM's WebSphere technology, providing the necessary L2i conversion. They are also the first and only L2i technology vendor with the capability to output to wireless.

I should be clear about the INTF/IBM relationship. IBM is selling INTF's Document Server as if it is IBM's own product, with its reps getting full commission. Interface gets $75-100 thousand dollars and a substantial service contract for each sale of WebSphere. With IBM's 247 sales reps worldwide selling INTF's product, an impact on revenues is inevitable.

The IBM webcast on the 22nd featuring INTF's Rich Sheridan should be very interesting. Be there.
