Lee: Excellent well reasoned post... Everything you say has merit... But, beneath it all our market is sliding down... The Advance/Decline line has been steadily falling... The New Highs/New Lows line is declining... The market is a forecaster of future economic performance... It's forecasting slower growth... Alan Greenspan is finally recognizing the possibility of deflation... So, putting aside all the academic arguments, the reality of a falling market is the most persuasive argument to me... Jim
