Greenspan Appearance Hugely Bullish for Oil. The timing and the nature of the remarks are exactly the kind of event to spark further upside in the very market this govt. official was clearly targeting. These remarks, in combination with the one week trading-driven Commodity rollercoaster--suggest a market making preparations to move higher. I'm talking about the entire commodity spectrum here. In contrast to May's Smackdown, this current smackdown is shaping up to be sharper--but shorter--just as you would expect, as the efforts to reverse the trend begin to fail. It all seems so obvious to me--perhaps I am totally wrong. LP
