Please try to control your drooling at the following hypothetical... It is possible that Al Quaida may have a suitcase nuke - perhaps Hiroshima capacity. They manage to set it off in DC. If the President, VP, and Speaker (not to mention most of the rest of State, the House, and the Senate) are taken out in an attack who sets up a functioning government? This why the VP's role in day to day governing is always minimized... If the same threat existed during the Clinton years - Gore would have always been kept at a safe distance or a protected location. Your whining about the VP being MIA has now been debunked. DROP IT.
