dave It is one thing if a company can make 64Mb or 256Mb for that matter. It is another thing if a company can make a profit doing it (g) Micron is the only company making a profit in dram today. ................................................................................ Did you know that being first in Dram was what forced INTEL out of the Dram market ! It happened a few years back. Intel spent big dollars going to the next step, but the second companies that tried it (Japan) learned form Intel's mistakes and was able to take the lead in world dram. ............................................................................... Micron likes to stay in the "sweet spot" in Dram and do it as the low cost producer. ............................................................................... My reading indicates that the next step fabs going to .25 will cost "TWICE" as much to build. Micron will just hang around and do it at the "right time". They did it with the 4Mb and are now doing it with the 16Mb and I feel have a good chance to do it at the 64Mb. They seem "DRAM" good at making Dram (g). .................................................................................. Larry Dudash
