Someone in the CMP article Larry posted claimed that they would get 50% more dice by going to .3um line width. The numbers don't seem to add up to me regarding the 50% increase, but that's correct and if they can pull it off, they should be able to reduce costs to about $3 each.

I'd assume yields would go down a little due to the smaller line width.
