Alabama We hear Republicans every day invoking God's name, calling for prayer in schools, supporting the display of the Ten Commandments, and preaching about family values, as though only Republicans have a moral compass. What kind of moral value system approves of theft of private property? Campaign materials are not free. Candidates pay for their production. Those who choose to display them pay for the privilege. Our members know not to display yard signs outside their property limits. What moral value system advocates trespassing on private property for the purpose of committing petty larceny? This is America. Democrats love this country as much as Republicans do. We believe that the privileges of citizenship should extend to all citizens. We believe that the bless ings bestowed upon this great land should benefit all citizens as well. What kind of moral value system encourages individuals to violate the privileges of freedom of speech and freedom of expression, which are guaranteed to all citizens by the U.S. Constitution? al.com
