Combjelly Re..Then why didn't the Republicans vote for the first version of the bill, which, other than the taxes was identical? What part of ""Who cares about the taxes, at a time the troops need the supplies."; didn't you understand. That sends the wrong message to the troops. What Kerry said is. " I would have supported you, if I could have gotten the rich to pay for it." Is that what you really wanted to say? We should all support our troops unconditionally.
