I have followed it closely for a while since it was first mentioned here. I would call this kind activity as crim. Here is my observation and information:

I saw the stock is on distribution after the 16/share right offering with the block chasing trick from Albany. As soon as a short order is in, the stock went down without the order filled. A couple times late today, the bid is even over the sell order, it is just ignoring the short order.
