The COVID-19 pandemic will have already infected most of the population of New York and California before the Navy hospital ships will be able to arrive. - cnbc.com The US could have purchased millions of Swiss-made COVID-19 tests from WHO two months ago, but did not, when Germany and so many other nations were placing orders. Today we still don't have enough COVID-19 tests to test all seriously ill people, let alone test the contacts of those infected. We're facing more than the death of the IBM Selectric typewriter. This is an unnecessary major blow to our economy on top of the unnecessary deaths.
