I don't need some punk hollywood director preaching to me through the silver screen.

It was time to fog the Condo, so I had to get out for at least four hours. [here in paradise, we do get roaches and ants.] So I went and saw Shooter. Technically excellent for an action thriller. All the explosions and photography you would expect. Wahlberg was good. As described it was like the director said, "OK, now's the time to have a character give a speech about how bad our Gov is." If you ignored that, and just watched it as a good guy/bad guy action thriller, it was OK.

I went to the next theater over and watched 300 for a while when Shooter was over. I got bored with all the head lopping and left. How many times do you want to see a guy have his head sliced off, watch it pop up into the air, then see the body standing there with no head for a couple of seconds before it collapses? Beautifully done, otherwise.
