there's one way obummercare can be defeated without blowback on republicans. they can come out of this smelling like a rose if SCOTUS strikes down obummercare. it can go before the court again. it has been discussed already. and the icing on the cake would be that the 'crats won't be able to resurrect again it later either. it would be finished almost for good. all we need is to be sure the votes are there to defeat it before it goes before the SC again.

if it happens that way, the republicans can claim innocence. "gee, there's nothing we can do about it... the SC said it was unconstitutional". that way the whole bill just goes away, and no one has to worry about voter anger over it.
