I think pairgain has a multimillion dollar investment in E/O and I think that's all it is.

On 03/25/97 the following was announced:
"ADC and E/O Networks Partner to Develop HDSL-Based Digital Local Loop Solutions"
No one has found info on why E/O went with ADC instead of Pairgain for the HDSL partnership, but no matter ;if E/O succeeds then the investment in them by Pair will increase in value.
