IMPORTANT "bit" of information (g)
If one takes the time to go back and read the Micron 10K
reports and reports on Micron's yearly stock holder meetings
you will find out that Micron is trying to be the lowest "bit" cost
producer. Micron stayed at 4Mb (where it was the lowest cost
"bit" producer until it went to 16Mb where it is presently the
lowest cost "bit" producer. I "beg" you to try to under stand the
difference between being the lowest cost 16Mb "chip" and or 64Mb
"chip" producer .......and the lowest cost "bit" producer. Some will
get this and some will not get this. Too bad.....
If you are building a computer (Dell, CPQ, IBM,etc) you want to get
the least cost "bit" to get to 32Mb or what ever.

Larry Dudash
PS: It is "bit" not "chip"
PS: Maybe if we said that Micron makes the least cost "silicon
memory device". This would take into consideration all costs, yield,
etc.....
