Larry,
Thanks for the articles - you're getting deep into FA. One thing I don't understand is Jack Robertson's reasoning when he talks about MU and the Koreans/Japanese being in a high-stakes game of 64 Meg chicken and that the 64 Meg market is becoming glutted before it even gets off the ground. OK, so let's say this is true (I hope!). The Koreans/Japanese lose big time. Where I'm coming up short with the old brain cells is trying to figure out how MU wins. Say 64 Meg crashes to $10 in 6 months and the Pac. Rim files for bankruptcy. Doesn't that mean that 16 Meg goes to $2 1/2 and MU still can't compete in the next-gen market or is Robertson saying that we get reverse crossover, all the OEMs just have to have 16 Meg (hey man I don't want none of that 64 Meg s--t), prices for 16 Meg rise to parity with 64 Meg and MU ends up with 100% market share? As you can tell, I'm confused (g).
Larry, there's a long black cloud comin' down, MU's goin' to put its fabs in the ground, it can't make them chips anymore ... gettin' dark, too dark to see ... Stevie A and JR are knockin' on heaven's door ... Larry, forget the 23-day channel for a moment and catch the big wave! It's not too late.
