Subject lines font size/spacing question:

I'm finding it MUCH harder to skim the subject lines area of threads with this new interface. The lines seem to be in a smaller font and closer to each other than was the case with the old interface. Having light blue/white alternate with each posting underlines really does not help me one bit. Actually, it MIGHT be somewhat easier to skim if the blue areas were not there.

Doing a copy/paste from this thread, as an example, this is the area I am referring to (in case my above paragraph is unclear):

I am a notebook-only type so maybe things are easier to read on a large screen monitor (?).
