Hi Paul, Welcome to the thread. <<..If in fact that study is valid...>> Research was done at the University of California at Irvine... discovered that people who listened to 10 minutes of Mozart before taking an intelligence test scored higher than people who listened to 10 minutes of relaxation instructions or who, for 10 minutes, sat in silence. Scientists speculate that some kinds of music stimulate neural pathways in the brain. Just a point of information. Althought I agree that it would be best if nobody was kept on hold at all, being realistic, I'd rather they became "smarter" while holding and realized what a great deal they were getting from TSIG <VBG>.
