I guess YHOO could be the catalyst that snaps this rubber band back in the other direction... as a piece of first-hand information, web ad revenues are WAY down, and it's happened very quickly over the past few months. The company that runs ads on my website, for example, hasn't been sending checks to folks since Nov-Dec, as the revenue sources just dried up quickly as advertisers started to feel the pinch of high interest rates, etc. ... this slowdown is really starting to have a snowball effect, and when an avalanche hits a house of cards, well - you know.
