larry-- which two competitors. for all we know, samsung may have a 64Mb chip cost of less than $15. are you starting to understand? 64MB computers will start piling on soon. the manufacturers need a new gimmick for xmas sales, and that is more memory and DVD. you can either agree with me now or later. it makes no difference to me<G>.i simply do not think the asians are loosing money on 64Mb production. they have been at it too long. good luck to all, trey
